Program for June:
Due to unforeseen circumstances with our speaker we had to make a change in the topic for our program for the June meeting. Instead of a presentation on propagating roses using cuttings, there will be a panel of some of our best rose experts presenting best practices for growing great roses followed by a question and answer period. You will also have an opportunity to write your questions at the meeting.

The meeting will start at 7:30 p.m. in Casa del Prado’s room 101 in Balboa Park with a pre-meeting Rose Care Program with Q&A From 7:00—7:30 p.m.

Gary Bulman, Master Rosarian, will be presenting a short program in the Rose Care Corner about successfully growing roses.

Directions to Casa del Prado, Room 101:
The Casa del Prado building is immediately west of the Natural History Museum. Entrances to the Casa del Prado lead to an inner court. The rooms are accessible from the court. Room 101 is downstairs on the east end of the court.

There Will Be a Little Rose Show at this Month’s Meeting! Please bring your blooms and enter them in our Little Rose Show. It’s fun and not intimidating, and there are awards to be won!

Refreshments including coffee service will be available. Please consider bringing individual snacks or desserts to share.

Effective April 20, 2022. San Diego County follows California Department of Public Health guidance that masks are still strongly recommended although no longer required in indoor public settings whether you have been vaccinated or not.
