Our neighbor, Orange County Rose Society, is offering us a great opportunity to join with them for a virtual rose society meeting on October 1st, 7:00-8:00pm.

The speaker will be Tom Carruth, who is the curator of the rose gardens at the Huntington Library in San Marino, CA. Tom says he has lots of great pictures of the rose gardens and since no one has been allowed to visit them we thought it would be interesting for folks to see.

Actually, we originally thought that we might be able to have Tom as a January or February speaker for our own society if we were able to get back into the room in the Prado at Balboa Park, but that is doubtful.
