Steve has become an expert at growing roses. He has been a member of the San Diego Rose Society for several years, and is often found in the garden of his Mission Hills home. Steve is also a great photographer. Most of these photos were taken by him!

Welcome to Christine and Rand's garden! Christine and Rand live in the Mount Soledad area of La Jolla. They have a coastal climate, with morning sunlight, and shade mixed with cool ocean breezes in the afternoon. They have a rose garden lining their long driveway and entrance to their home. Christine is a consulting rosarian and she volunteers her time taking care of the Scripps Mercy Hospital rose garden, after she retired from working at the hospital.

Rand volunteers his time to the San Diego Rose Society by sending out our news and newsletters via email. They both volunteer at the Inez Grant Parker Memorial Rose Garden in Balboa Park.

Ruth Tiffany is a master rosarian and is an award-winning rose exhibitor. She exhibits her roses in many rose shows each year and at the San Diego County Fair. Ruth moved to her current home in El Cajon in 2002 and she has planted and maintained a stunning rose garden filled with over 500 roses on a 7000 square foot lot. Ruth has also developed a very precise fertilizer schedule and is in charge of our annual fertilizer sale for the San Diego Rose Society. Ruth often has buckets of roses outside of her garden, during the spring and summer, for her neighbors to take home.

San Diego Rose Society President Ken Huff shares his garden tour in Escondido featuring a total of 315 roses. Ken is one of the many people that exhibit roses in the San Diego County Fair and regional rose shows. Ken is 87 years old and is an excellent rose gardener and an award-winning exhibitor.
